Organized almost 8 years ago, the Basilica Auxiliaries has grown not only in number but also in their roles in all the liturgical celebrations of the home of INA.
Now with 62 members, and counting, they usually do the Sunday collections. But starting this year, the auxiliaries will also be doing the role of usherettes, welcoming churchgoers, distributing the bulletin, assisting the disabled and even maintaining an orderly reception of the holy communion. Aside from these, the Auxiliaries also assist in the preparation of the vestments of the priests; they sponsor monthly healing processions and also perform cleaning inside the church. Last December they also sponsored gift giving to the less fortunate families.
They are truly the silent workers in the home of INA. They continue to accept new members of the Basilica auxiliaries.
