At the back of the Basilica Church reside the DM Sisters in the different stages of formation: the Perpetual Professed, the Juniors and the Pre Novices. From Aspirancy until the Final vows their life is a continuous formation: spiritual, communal, academic, psychosocial and apostolic. Mandate for Holy Mass in Latin
After a papal decree was issued in 2007 stating that priests could celebrate the Holy Mass in Latin for traditional Catholics, a mandate was given for a broader adoption of the said decree in 2011. Many are called but few are chosen. Rev. Fr. Godofredo Rueda, Jr. celebrated his Silver Sacerdotal Anniversary last January 2, 2012 (Monday). A thanksgiving mass was celebrated at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Church and Shrine at two-thirty in the afternoon. It was a simple gathering attended by the celebrant’s family and friends. Fr. Caceres Catechetical Center marks 25th
A circular was issued by the Archbishop announcing the 25th year celebration of the Caceres Catechetical Center (CCC) on January 20-21, 2012. Since last year, it has scheduled a monthly archdiocesan activity for its various stakeholders – its founder, the catechists, the parents and children, the teachers in public and private schools, the CCM staff, and the CCC graduates among others. Over the years, the ministry has been actively promoting the goals of catechesis in a way that forges alliances with various institutions, commissions and agencies of the government. Archdiocesan Vocation Week
The Commission on Vocations of the Archdiocese of Caceres will hold the annual Vocation Week on January 18-22, 2012. This activity aims to promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life. A group of talented Caceres priests conducted an art exhibit at the Cafe des Artes Villa Esperanza, San Nicolas, Baao, CS. Among them are: Fr. Emil Llagas and Fr. Eric Bobis (Photography), Fr.
